Post production is what keeps the flow going in the filmmaking process and is an important consideration. This is where the stories are stitched and allows you to go beyond the raw scene. This is an important aspect and is among the most talked about work of any video production company. PS : If you mess with the post, your whole project or production & hard-work is going to get wasted.

What is Post Production?

Post-production is the creative process that follows filming, acting as the bridge to transform raw scenes into a seamless story. Much like a sculptor meticulously chisels a masterpiece from stone, post-production is where the art of storytelling begins. It's about constructing, shaping, and crafting a narrative that deeply resonates with audiences. It's the moment when GoodBiscuits, like a sculptor's tools, come into play to carve out the story.

It commences with a collection of unprocessed footage and images, but as post-production takes the stage, it unlocks new possibilities for enhancing the footage. This is where a story undergoes a rebirth, revealing a final product that captivates viewers. Dedication, hard work, and an unwavering artistic vision are the ingredients that distinguish the best from the rest in this creative city.

3 Important stages of post production.

1.The Editor's Responsibility:

The editor holds a pivotal role in post-production, as they have full control over how the story is structured and conveyed. They can make scenes more complex or simplify them to convey the desired meaning. Editors play a crucial role in justifying the hard work invested in pre-production and production. They have the ability to transform a straightforward storyline into a more intricate narrative, and vice versa. The editor's skill in portraying the footage is of utmost importance.

2. Impact of Post-Production:

In the grand scheme of the filmmaking process, we place significant emphasis on the role of post-production. A substantial portion of our time, around 60-70%, is dedicated to brainstorming and crafting the responsibility for leaving a lasting impact. This stage involves the real-time construction of the story, bringing it to life through the use of raw footage.

Post-production encompasses critical elements such as precise cuts, crafting story structures, incorporating Animation VFX, conducting color correction, enhancing scenery, and adding supplementary elements to enrich the final product. This stage is where the magic happens, transforming raw materials into a compelling and impactful visual narrative.

3. Sound designing and cuts

Sound is the heartbeat of a video, providing its soul and depth. Music selection is pivotal in breathing life into the narrative, a process that starts during pre-production. Sound design goes beyond music, significantly enhancing the visual experience. Similarly, in the realm of cuts and editing, we carefully plan the structure before shooting. During post-production, we decide how to present cuts, whether in a complex, simple, or direct manner to maximize their impact.
